Artist Statement

The investigation of the place of action and the response to it with an artwork are the basis of my artistic approach. I like to observe the environment in which I operate, to detect the peculiarities that make it unique and to be inspired by them. I then try to orient the viewer's gaze or make it experience the space differently in order to highlight the place as well as certain details that have caught my attention. In this way, my artistic production is fundamentally in situ.

Trained in visual arts and urban planning, I like to turn my works into elements that contribute to the functionality of public spaces. The bench function, recurrent in my production, then allows me to encourage a physical and intimate appropriation of my creations.
